Bible Hour

SUNDAY BIBLE HOUR 9:15-10:15 AM

5TH GRADE TO EVERYONE
Some assurances: You will never be asked to read/you will not be called on to answer/you don’t need to raise your hand.  We just want people to be comfortable spending an hour in God’s Word with us.

The Word Endures: Lessons from Luther (Sep-Oct)
In 1521, Martin Luther was asked to take back what he was teaching about God’s Word. His answer? “Here I stand. I cannot do otherwise. God help me.” Exactly 500 years later, we still take our stand on God’s Word alone. In this study, we’ll explore many Bible truths Luther emphasized in his lifetime.

Preparing for Death and Dying: A Seminar (Nov 7 & 13)

What happens when you or your loved ones approach the end of life? “What about all the medical procedures? What about my faith? My family? The finances?” These practical seminars—led by an experienced guest presenter —aim to answer your questions and reassure you with God’s grace.

And Justice for All: The Book of Amos (Nov-Dec)
Amos is not a popular book of the Bible. Since it contains many harsh words of warning and judgment from God, people tend to avoid it. However, God’s words through Amos are remarkably relevant for our times. God still speaks through Amos today about injustice, hatred, empty religion, and renewal in Christ.
