Pastor Dennis Lemke

Pastor Lemke was born in LaCrosse, WI in 1948 and was raised in Onalaska, WI. After attending the public grade school in Onalaska, he attended Luther High School in Onalaska. Upon graduation from there, he began preparations for the public ministry at Northwestern College in Watertown, WI. From there, he went on to attend Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI. His Vicar hear of training took place at Zion Lutheran Church in Columbus, WI. Before beginning his Vicar year, he married Judy Warnecke of Hokah, MN in August of 1972. The Lord has blessed them with 6 children. Since graduation from the seminary in 1974, the Lord has permitted us to serve parishes in Beverly Hills, FL (4 years); Norfolk and O'Neill, NE (12 years); South Shore and Goodwin, SD (9 years) and 8 years thus far in Weyauwega, WI.

My wife Judy is active in church and school activities: teaching in the remedial program at our school and giving piano lessons, playing the organ for church services, singing in the senior choir, and playing in the handbell choir.

My personal interests include music and sports.
